Our school has a student population of approximately 513 diverse students. Sixty five percent of these students are socioeconomically disadvantaged which makes for a challenging classroom. Our district, like many local school districts has a limitation on the purchase of classroom supplies. This is where Donor's Choose comes in to play. You see, my students are quite motivated, but need to get the materials in their hands, given most families cannot afford to purchase additional classroom supplies. Part of our mission here at C.K. Price Middle School, is to be committed to developing children who are confident and creative builders of their future. The implementation of this project will bring my students closer to realizing this goal!
