My class aims to set my students up for a successful future. I push my kindergarten students to be technologically literate at a young age so they are prepared for state assessments that are required of them as well as set them up for future job opportunities that will require a minimum of basic understanding of technology. My students are often working to take a picture of their work and upload it onto their digital portfolios for them and their parents to see. In addition, students practice recording videos or creating digital images and presentations to present and learn their work in different ways. The class is currently set up in a 5 center rotational model: 1. Direct teacher instruction 2. Hands on fluency activities 3. Pair shared creation group 4. Computer center 5. Independent work activity
