My children range from kindergarten to second grade. They are beautiful and full of potential. Many are starved for adult attention, with parents who want to spend more time with their children but must work two jobs to support them. Many are anxious, not knowing whether social services will be at their door when they get home. Some have conditions that compound the problems of poverty: autism, depression, learning disorders, and more.
