My Project: My classroom currently has 2 soccer balls, 4 footballs, no goals, limited basketballs and no fitness equipment. By being able to purchase new footballs, basketballs and soccer balls, goals, and fitness equipment I can set up sporting games and fun activities. I want to get my students excited about playing sports and becoming more active. I want them to know that just by being outside and passing a ball around for 30-60 minutes they are already helping to improve their quality of life. It is so important for kids to develop social and communication skills while engaging with others. Why not foster these abilities through the use of sports and fitness and teach them how to become healthier in the process. Having proper equipment gives them the opportunity to learn new skills both physical and mental and apply them to every day life. Donations will allow me to purchase much needed equipment for my classes
