Hello and welcome to my Donor's Choose website! I hope you will take a look at my projects and see if you are interested in helping my students. I teach students in an autism classroom at a large public elementary school outside of Washington DC. My students are a wonderful group of eager learners with a wide variety of abilities. Because of their disabilities, all of my students have unique learning needs that require specific teaching techniques. Having a variety of interactive, hands-on materials in the classroom can help address many of these needs including: providing instruction in various modalities (auditory, visual, tactile), individualizing lessons for each student, and supporting adaptations for learners with co-morbid visual or motor disabilities. Thank you for your time - my students and I hope you choose to support our projects!
