My fifth grade students will be so excited to step foot into the classroom each day because it will feel safe and comfortable. We have a confetti theme going along with growth mindset showing the students positive attitude. It also shows them that even if they can't do something yet, they will learn how to do it. We often are on the floor doing work; we work individually, with a partner, and in small groups often. We have a choice of where we can sit when possible!
