I am a special education teacher at a K-8th grade STEM School. My students are special education students that qualify for services in the resource room in the areas of reading, written language, math, study skills, and social skills. Students are SLD (Specifically Learning Disabled) Cognitively Impaired, have ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), Language Impairments, have vision difficulties, are depressed, have orthopedic impairments, have Autism/Aspergers, have OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorders), RAD (Reactive Attachment Disorders), are Bi-polar, have mood disorders, ED (Emotional Disturbances) and ODD (Oppositional Defiance Disorders). Despite their disabilities, all of my students are eager to learn. They all work very hard to improve their skills!
