As a special education teacher, the students in my classes have disabilities including (but not limited to) autism, orthopedic impairments, dyslexia, intellectual disability, and emotional disturbance. However, they are all wonderful students with hopes, aspirations, and dreams for what their futures hold for them. As a teacher, I believe that it is my responsibility to find ways to give my students access to the same curriculum and experiences that other students have. What my students often lack is opportunity; let's work together to provide that for them!

About my class
