This classroom carpet will provide a vibrant, comfortable and engaging place for all students to learn. My students do not have an adequate space for learning during whole group lessons. The carpet we currently have is worn and no longer large enough to fit our needs. With a new place to learn, students will be able to comfortably take part in whole group lessons in reading and math and be able to be fully engaged. Currently, my students barely have enough room for their own bodies on the carpet. It would be more beneficial for the students to not only have space for themselves, but to also have enough space to bring manipulatives, such as white boards and clipboards to the carpet, to enhance their learning experience.
