These tablets will be used to implement blended learning stations that students will use daily. Blended Learning provides differentiated, inquiry infused, authentic learning experiences for all students in the classroom. It delivers engaging content that increases students’ higher order thinking skills, motivation to learn, ownership of learning and creativity. I have created digital playlists for units that include activities, tutorial videos, games, examples, assignments and quizzes. Students will be able to use the tablets to work their way through the playlist during the course of each unit. Playlists can also be accessed to revisit concepts that students found difficult or to take mastered concepts to the next level through enrichment. I am very excited to be able to utilize Blended Learning this year and feel it will increase my students’ academic success through engaging, meaningful learning.
