My students are non-traditional learners. When left to their own devices their movement and activity disrupts their instruction as well as distracts themselves and others. The use of sensory cushions and resistance bands are great tools that provide students a motor release that is safe and effective. My students will be able to increase their time on task, complete assignments, as well as feel a sense of accomplishment from their success. I have witnessed both of these tools effectiveness, but I have 1 cushion to share with my whole group. It would be great to have additional supplies to help more of my students.
