I have the pleasure of working with fantastic five year old children every day! They inspire me each day to create better lesson plans and more engaging learning activities. My students come to school from surrounding neighborhoods to our inner-city school. Most of them come from a low income family with one parent struggling to hold the family together. Many of them suffer from low academics, ESL, and ADHD. They come to learn but some days it is a struggle to keep them on task. They are a very busy bunch! I have to make sure that we are always on the move and we have a lot of hands on activities planned throughout the day.
