Finding ways to encourage middle schoolers to be aware of the world around them, to think scientifically using good evidence and argumentation, and to be thoughtful in their solutions is as important as exposure to content standards. Finding a great curriculum unit to encourage STEM thinking using low-cost common items is a bonus! I'm always looking for great ways to inspire young scientists and Donors Choose projects have been a great way to help me to do that
