The students in my classroom are all diagnosed with autism. The school that I teach in has limited supplies and manipulatives for the special education students. The students will use the different items asked for to focus during learning and to continue to learn new skills. All the sensory items being asked for will improve all my student's daily life, while keeping them from becoming over stimulated in the classroom. My students can quickly become over stimulated in many different situations, and having multiply sensory items will improve the over stimulation quickly. My students will benefit from donations for these items each and everyday! Having these items will help each student practice skills with hands-on materials and real-life resources. This will help to improve each student in my classroom. All these items will be used numerous times throughout each school year with many different students.
