My superkids are a diverse group of eager and willing learners. They have allowed me to nurture courage and resilience in them in a setting where many are fearful of failure. My students' families are majority low-income, but we forge forward, every day, with determination and teamwork because we are set on being successful. My homeroom consists of 25 students, but I teach a total of 50 students daily. Over the past few years I've had to be creative in how I teach them, attempting to keep them engaged, and I've managed to do well. Each one of my superkids has amazing abilities and qualities, which makes the classroom so diverse and unique. Even though each student comes from a different background or has different personalities, respect, great character, and pride in our school are what make for new adventures and opportunities to learn everyday.
