My students are 7th and 8th graders that are aspiring to be engineers. They currently are using the Lego Robotics to design, build, and program to fulfill problems they are given. They are mostly students that are coming from lower to middle incomes and incomes are dropping due to the labor manufacturing jobs that are leaving the area. There is however a need for engineers due to the local businesses moving from the labor/production to the engineering/production business.
