My students are at the beginning of their journey with books and reading. They are in need of material that will allow them to stretch their minds to their capabilities. It is necessary to practice books at their differing levels. In order to develop into competitive readers, they are need of repetitive text in their daily practice. In my classroom, I am in need of rich text that is exciting, fun, and at levels that are appropriate for each student. I like to provide a variety of options for the students, including audio books. Listening to reading is a key component when motivating and modeling the love for reading!
