The Orff Instruments purchased through this project will be used by students in kindergarten through fourth grade to make their own music! Music will be played on these instruments with the goal of 100% student produced music performances. Along the way to meeting this goal, students will reinforce reading skills, refine motor skills and dexterity, engage in team work, and use more parts of the brain at once than in any other activity. Gaining access to these instruments is a big step in creating equity among the music education provided by the different schools in the district, greater metro area, state, and nationally.

About my class
