A laptop in the classroom will allow my students to be able to access the curriculum through different learning modalities. Each child learns at a different pace. A laptop will provide students with learning games appropriate for their learning abilities. The laptop will help students practice the basics such as starting and shutting down, using the mouse, identifying letters on the keys, and typing. Also, with the Internet, students will be able to access learning sites that would assist auditory and visual learners. For the whole class, the laptop can be connected to the projector and allow us to take virtual field trips. This is especially important since our ability to go on field trips in real life is hugely impacted by the current "Stay at home order" due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This project will make a difference by enhancing the learning environment of the class.
