Imagine an office where you are forced to sit in a cubicle all day. Now imagine a more spacious and welcoming environment replacing that confined space. Freedom and movement can be beneficial to adults, but to children...it can be life changing! Even the smallest movement can provide immeasurable relief to a student with special needs. Students with special needs benefit from seating options throughout their day. My choice of a low level desk with floor level chairs will provide my students a chance to move and to sit while having a different spatial perspective. It can help them focus more intently.
