I would love to be able to provide my students with more than one option for seating. I believe that they will be more engaged in the activities and have a greater sense of creativity. Allowing choice builds a sense of empowerment and increased engagement. Portable desks will allow the students to enjoy reading and working around the room while still having a surface to complete assignments. Stools will allow of choice of seating while still wanting to sit at the table. Clipboards will allow the students to complete work while moving around the room. Providing my students with the power of choice will allow them to be more involved in their learning.
