My students are working significantly behind their same age peers. My classroom has many different learning styles with the majority of my students using picture communication to communicate. The classroom keeps me on my toes along with my four classroom assistants. The biggest challenge in my room is helping the students to demonstrate their abilities in ways that others can understand them. In my room, we use many different strategies to learn, such as songs, videos, building, community outings and even cooking. I have found that this type of learning is the most successful way for the students to shine. The room is filled with laughter, smiles and many tears of joy. Any help you can provide, ensures that my students continue on the path to success. Thank you.
