Students would use the Chromebooks daily within our guided reading program by using tools that are both fun and powerful. Students need to stay focused and motivated while they are working independently. The Chromebooks will allow us to use response systems with highly engaging platforms to further promote reading comprehension that is aligned with state standards. Examples of these highly engaging platforms include Socratic, Go Formative, Quiz Socket and Verso. These resources will allow self-paced learning, collaboration, live responses, virtual classroom activities and progress tracking. These programs will also assess where students are succeeding and where they need extra help as determined via live responses.
