Our school recently won the 2017 Blue Ribbon Award, and I am looking to continue the excellent education our students receive. I am designing an innovative 21st century learning space through the use of technology, curriculum, and flexible seating. Providing my students with access to a wide range of materials and a creating a space that enhances their learning will help each child continue to be successful and accomplish individual goals. I am looking to replace the standard student desks with collaborative tables. Not only are students encouraged to create together using this seating arrangement, but they also will have the option to show their thinking on the erasable table top! Giving my students multiple seating options has helped my class remain engaged and achieve their personal best. Every student has the ability to obtain greatness if we give them the tools and confidence to do so!
