Educational iPads will be an excellent resource to assist students in learning at their own pace. A lot of programs can be customized to address the same skills at different levels. Although all of our students began the year at three, they each came to school with varying areas of strengths and challenges. The use of technology can aid in closing the deficit for the students, including our diverse learners who sometimes have challenges very different than their peers or who have difficulties in addition to those possessed by their peers. To successfully and fairly educate every student, a teacher must acknowledge and utilize all learning styles. Having iPads is an excellent resource for us to reach auditory, visual, and hands-on learners while supporting multiple intelligence through various apps. With teacher support, educational iPads can become a great collaborative center. If implemented properly, the center will only require a floating teacher or aid, resulting in less student redirection and more time for guided activities with the stationary teacher.
