These Fire Tablet 7's will bring technology into my student's hands! By having tablets in our classroom, my students will be able to practice their reading fluency with the Seesaw app. By utilizing this, not only will my students be engaged during the activity, but it enables both myself and the child's parents to actually hear the child read aloud independently. Students will be gaining confidence not only with reading, but also with technology. Each student will have a portfolio on Seesaw so both their parents and I can track the child's progress together! With these tablets, students will be able to upload their own work into their portfolios and be responsible for deciding what is their best work to post. These portfolios will be a great way to see growth, incorporate vital technology skills my students will need for the future, and encourage students to be truly proud of their work and accomplishments!
