We are a second year non-profit, Title I, fully arts integrated school. We recently moved into a new building and had no room to facilitate small groups and one-on-one interventions for our at-risk kiddos. Volunteers in our community came together to turn a storage area into a classroom space for our MTSS/Interventions Team. Unfortunately, most of our budget was depleted on building materials. We were left to buy most of our materials and resources out of pocket. Teachers spend an enormous amount in all schools, but our teachers go above and beyond. We have many students who would not have had holiday gifts if not for our teachers and staffs donating gifts. I myself take our students photos in the fall and spring. I donate half of those proceeds back to our school. We are hoping to find someone out there who loves kids as much as we do. We know the playing field is not level for all children, and we want a holistic experience filled with love and equity for every student!
