These books will introduce STEAM opportunities and learning to Fillmore’s students alongside our project-based learning! The books chosen illustrate real possibilities for our students’ futures in fun and exciting ways. As STEAM industries change, our new learners need early exposure to be able to be and stay updated to the ever-changing needs of society! These books will allow children to see how their STEAM interests and skillsets could apply to real-world applications! Children are able to visualize and demonstrate how play-builds and simple design can lead to construction/architectural projects through these books. While our projects-based learning activities show the “how” of STEAM-learning, our literary elements best show the “what” and “why”! Help put these books into the classroom to enrich the STEAM-learning environment!
