My school has a high percentage of students who receive free and reduced lunches. It is rare to keep more than half of my students for the entire year due to the frequent withdrawals and enrollments throughout the year. We pour into them as much as we can for as long as we have them. We reach out to our families during the holidays with any needs that need to be met. We are a Title 1 school, but funds get absorbed quickly each year for needs at school.
