I am very fortunate to teach a spectacular group of readers, grades K-5, who struggle greatly with reading but amaze me every day with their willingness to work hard. As a Literacy Specialist, I teach to incorporate the other content areas - Math, Science, and Social Studies - in our learning, whether it be in literacy stations, technology or nonfiction texts selected for deeper reading. We are a Title I school and we have limited technology accessability in the classroom but we are working to make changes for our students with your help.

About my class
