Hello and thank you so much for taking the time to check out my page. My name is Kari Ward and I have been in education for 8 years; however, I've been working with children since the age of 17. Making a positive impact in the lives of children is absolutely my passion! This school year marked the beginning of a radical transition in my career as I moved out of a middle school science classroom into an elementary library setting. I was anxious about making such a huge change but thankfully, I love my new career! As the librarian I am able to develop relationships with every student in the school as well as their families. Along with getting to know every student in the school, I am blessed with the task of helping them become excited about learning and reading. What an amazing gig, right?
