These materials will help us as a 5th grade team create a flipped classroom that can be easily accessed by our parents and students. We plan to create pre-recorded mini lessons for students who are not able to attend virtually, face-to-face, or has missed any lesson due to absence. Furthermore, these pre-recorded mini lessons will help us as teachers differentiate for individual students. This idea of a flipped classroom was inspired after my grade level and I participated in a Professional Development course from March-June 2020. We couldn't have taken this course at a better time. During these uncertain times, in the event that plans change, the document cameras will help us in any situation presented to us. Whether we have face-to-face interaction, teach virtually, or both, we can still create pre-recorded mini lessons to engage our students and help them become successful in their learning.
