When I arrived at my school, I had discovered that most of the instruments are broken or duct taped. I had heard stories from the students, or instruments falling apart while they are marching in a parade. How the band director before me, duct taped the quads to a chair, so that it can be played. The school currently has more instruments that are broken, than the ones that work. I have made it my mission to give the students the proper equipment so that they can learn properly and flourish. They need instruments that are functional so that they can learn to become better musicians. The instruments that I am looking to get for the students will be used by the students during performances, and parades.
