Individual student needs are overlooked in the Science Classroom. Students are expected to comprehend difficult abstract ideas with materials that are frequently old and outdated. Through the key additions to my classroom of new safety goggles and digital temperature probes students will be able to take pride in their lab experience. My choices for this project reflect my desire to allow my students to gain a sense of ownership of their scientific journey. I'd like to provide each of my students with a scientific notebook and note taking tools that will help their learning have a concrete base in what interests them. Your donations to this project will allow me better meet the diverse needs of my students, and provide them a hands on, interactive, and meaningful scientific experience without placing the burden on the families.
