My students ask thoughtful questions, dive deep into experiments with excitement, and are always ready to explore the world around them. Our school is a designated STEAM school and is now also in a transitional phase to a classical education school model - the first traditional public school to adopt this curriculum. I have the privilege of working with all the students in our school as I lead science labs for Kindergarten through fifth grade while also teaching third grade Math and Science. Each day, I prepare and organize several different labs to meet the needs of multiple grade levels.
