I have the privilege of teaching THE MOST AWESOME 3rd graders around! At Windber Area Elementary School, we don't always have all the money, but we sure do ALWAYS have all the HEART!! I work with the most amazing students and families! We take what we have and always make it work! In my classroom, students are engaged in math, science, and STEAM lessons and activities. We do small group math lessons and centers (most of which are technology-driven). Students partake in hands-on science lessons and experiments. We study water and plant/animal life. You need to visit our classroom to experience it! If you have the opportunity, stop in and see us!!
