This novel, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, is written in a student friendly manner. It is on grade level for my students which will help them feel successful and accomplished when engaging in activities, group work, and literary discussions. Most of my students are spending their first year out of their ELL classes in a regular ELA class. I'm hoping that I can pique their interest in reading a bit more with an engaging book. Since this is my favorite book of all time, I was hoping that I would be able to share my excitement for reading with my students through a novel that engages them.
