We need an iPad and a tripod for the iPad. Students will produce visual morning announcements using the iPad and iMovie. The students currently use the audio system to verbalize morning announcements. They have begun creating scripts to share daily announcements but they are ready to expand their audience using visual video tools. Our school News Broadcasting Service will allow students the opportunities to share the great news and upcoming events within their school, community and the world. Students will write, record and produce all content to be shown in the broadcast. Students will complete applications and interview for jobs associated with the broadcast, i.e. writers, producers, on-air talent, video management. Students will receive an orientation on proper use of the tools and software from local television talent in order to fully produce and sustain the school broadcast.
