I teach K-2 STEM in a wonderful district, focused on meeting the needs of our students. We are a Title I school with many of our students below poverty level. I do everything I can to make school a place of happiness, encouragement, and love. For many of them, school is the only time they have an opportunity to experience many things beyond the walls of their homes, TV, and video games. My students deserve an engaging experience every day they walk through my classroom door. I have taught for 22 years in K-4th grades. During that time I have seen education undergo many changes. Never have I experience a time when our children need us more. Teaching young minds is the most rewarding career that you can select, but at times, can also be the most difficult. Education is the most important way to change a child's life. Thank you for helping me change lives every day!
