As stated above, we recently transitioned to a play-based whole learning classroom. With this new way of learning, we have created more stations in the classroom to encourage this play-based learning. Since we have more stations around the classroom, more flexible seating is needed to distinguish the stations. Flexible seating will also allow my students the freedom to move and wiggle while staying in a seat. Flexible seating like these cushions, wobble chairs, stools, and fidget chair bands will encourage and foster a higher level of learning in my kindergarten classroom. My students will love the opportunity to move around the room and have different seating options.
