I need help in providing resources for my students pertaining to learning the concepts surrounding Earth Science. I would like to provide them with a resource that has had success in my classroom on the topic of human body systems. We have used the human body flip chart set, and the use of it in my classroom helped my students learn about the human body. I believe the Curriculum Mastery Earth Science Flip Chart Set will further my students learning in the topic of Earth Science. My student will use this as a resource to help explain why the Earth has large mountains like the Himalayas. Even if students do not read at grade level, they should be provided resources that help them learn and understand Earth Science. Another resources besides the flip charts is the Bill Nye DVD, which will help in providing visuals for plate tectonics. Often students have trouble imagining concepts they cannot see for themselves. The DVD will help students understand explain how plate tectonics play a role in the formation of Earth's landscape.
