This year my classroom has transitioned to using tables instead of desks. This allows for better collaborative and engaging activities. The students absolutely love our table arrangement but it hinders their ability to store their personal, daily materials in our classroom. Chair pockets would allow them a place to store their materials at their specific spot in the classroom. The also make for an easy move from one location to another as we intermingle our groups throughout the year. Instead of having to take all their materials from one place to another we can simply swap their chair pockets. I think the chair pockets would be a wonderful addition to our classroom and would positively contribute to our daily routines in the classroom!
