My classroom has no student computers, and we live in a world of technology! Chromebooks will enable my students to take online tests, games, and broaden the topics and projects we could do in math, science, and social studies. When they are working with technology, they are willing to do more and work harder. My goal is to add 9 laptops so students can work more independently and have more available for partner work. I will be able integrate technology into all areas of math, science, and social studies. I will use Google classroom to provide higher level activities and assignments to take learning to the next level. Students will be able to share their projects and assignments with parents. We love going to the computer lab, so why not have computers in my classroom! I know my kids will thoroughly enjoy having laptops in class so they can better their education. This year, our end of year test will be on the computer; we need more practice with typing and computer skills to ready ourselves for the tests. All of my students are intelligent and little computer game wizzes; therefore, combining the use of computers and education will expand their knowledge and prepare them for a life that is surrounded by technology.
