Children need to be able to make choices while they are at school. One good way to do this is to give them the opportunity to choose a type of seating that is comfortable for them and that would help them focus. "Research has shown that comfortable classrooms—physically and psychologically— promote a sense of well-being, keep minds focused, and limit distractions." Research has also proven that when kids are able to wiggle or bounce a little while learning it can help them focus. "A 2008 study found that children actually need to move to focus during a complicated mental task." I would like to provide an engaging classroom where children are able to make seating choices that fit their learning needs and styles. I would also like to have some individual music players for students who can focus better while listening to music.
