Classroom libraries are incredibly important. My students need engaging reading choices made available to them. My school does not offer a full library, and many of my students do not have access to books outside of school. Many of my students read below reading level, and these books will help improve their literacy. They can't become better readers if they do not read, and these books will offer them choices they would be interested in reading. Many of these titles have authors and characters of color which is a majority of the population at my school. These titles also have characters and authors in the LGBTQ community.
