I have 21 world changers in my first grade classroom. Each student is unique and special. I have high expectations for my students and strive to provide the best learning environment for all types of learners. One thing all my students have in common is they love to move! My students thrive off movement and activity. I want all my students to experience success. And if that means they need to lay on the carpet or stand to complete their work, then they are able to in my classroom. Research has shown how movement is key to a child's development, and I am fortunate to teach in a building that values that research and encourages teachers to integrate movement into all aspects of the day.

About my class
