Help our classroom acquire a comfortable couch. I implemented "flexible seating" within my classroom last year and my students are so much more focused throughout the day when they are able to find seats that work for them. When I discussed a "couch" with students, they were extremely enthusiastic. I can't wait to see how this new type of seating is a motivator for my students. Since implementing flexible seating, my students need to carry around large boxes with them (since their seat choices change day to day). This can become a bit of an organizational problem. It would be wonderful to have paper (mailbox) cubbies to keep us organized throughout the day.
