The special kiddos that I get to interact with on a daily basis are funny, hard working, silly, and sometimes mischievous! They are also 5 and 6 years old. Out of the mouths of babes, they keep my job very interesting! I love teaching Kindergarten because everything is new and exciting. I also love working with the parents, many of whom are going through this for the first time as well. Our school is located in a very transient area due to several military bases. It is very rewarding to get to teach and love on students whose families are giving the ultimate sacrifice of serving our country. Students often move into our school and the next week their parents are leaving for a 6-12 month deployment. It is amazing to see how resilient children can be. I do my best to provide a fun , safe, and engaging learning environment for all students.
