My students will use the iPad to program robots in our maker space classroom. My students need a bluetooth enabled device to write code for their robot to perform tasks using the Wonder Apps, Blockly, Wonder, and Dash. They can make our Dash Robot perform tasks they program. My students will use our smart phone to connect to our virtual reality headsets. We can explore many places using virtual reality without leaving our classroom! There are many apps available to load on the smart phone, such as Star Chart and Discovery VR. We will connect the phone to our headsets and let the learning begin! We can time travel to different events in our history, experience different careers firsthand, explore the depths of the ocean, and the vastness of space with this technology. Having these resources available will improve our learning and understanding and prepare them for the future.
