The CD listening center will assist my students as they begin to make the connection between letters and sounds. I have the phonemic awareness set, but I am not able to use that until students have a good grasp of letters and sounds. This will be the perfect way to begin the school year. These hands-on word building materials will be beneficial as my kindergarteners begin to put letters and sounds together to build words. Learning to read is such an important development in the life of a kindergartener, and having the right tools to teach with is so important.
